Especially the deer. It's not the most delicious. Haven't you ever had baby rabbit stewed in wine?

Actually, yes. But I'm afraid rare venison steak with horseradishes trumps it entirely.

I don't like venison much. It's so much hassle to kill and skin a deer, and then butchering...? No, thanks. Bunnies are much easier. Just hold them just right, a sharp tug and twist, and suddenly, dinner.

Anyway, it's not like you have too much choice if you're roughing it, right? I spent so much time in warcamps that you eat what you can get, especially when it's getting lean.

Right. First few months in Anatole I lived almost entirely off what I could kill. Once or twice it wasn't even a normal creature.
