I am eager to entertain alternatives. Any and all, barring only the one I currently perceive to be the case. That for lack of clear-cut options we are pursuing none. Observation is itself impact. Perhaps I can try to make things clearer.
If I am wrong, if things are being done behind the scenes, the surest way to stop me is to inform me of such and I will with all my being help. It's true my personal investment is potentially problematic but I believe that I am more useful in this cause than not-enough so that standing aside seems unacceptable.

I'm seeing from other responses how misleading my fervor was. My current intent is only reconnaissance. If you think it wisest to accompany me you alone would be welcome… but perhaps I should attempt to narrow the location to a district and report back before closer-proximity work is attempted?
Whatever the case, she has succeeded in making us all work so hard to restrain our own worst instincts, and attempt to protect one another from giving into their own, we have been diverted from working on the problem together and rationally. Her brand of terrorism makes it hard to trust ourselves and one another. Let's change that.
