[ Video ] 5th Roar
[ A Forge turns on, but it isn't to pleasantries, rainbows or ponies. It is to blood, screams, explosions and death.
Chaotic screaming, sound at first, and then the forge changes to video. A small crowd of natives cluster away, staring in horror at something the Forge can't see. Yet.
A low rumble, and then a roar, feral and angry. The crowd disperses as a beast that resembles a winged panther lunges into the crowd- some are not fast enough.
Their deaths are mercifully short - sharp claws rip through soft flesh, blood spraying every which way. The beast catches sight of someone running for help, and takes to the air, overtaking him easily, landing and leaping straight at him, fangs finding and tearing out his throat.
The screaming has stopped. No one is left. The bastet still has the man's throat in its jaws, its ears pinned back and tail lashing wildly. The sleek black coat is liberally doused with blood from the massacre. ]
[Fingertips splayed and sliding into view, running up along the beast's neck, stopping to give a scratch behind its ear.]
There's a good girl.
[Crouching down into view, skirts dark and spattered - shining with (Something. Blood? It would seem the obvious choice.) her movement as her hand slips down to ruffle the fur underneath the cat's chin. Blood pools in the crevices of her ornate rings - coats the pale flesh of her fingers.
And a sly, venomous smile toward the Forge before the feed cuts. ]
