He was out in the ruins, so that's where I am. I have to find him! Stupid! Disappearing is cheating if you don't have reiatsu!
[Another thump of her scabbard for good measure. She's mad!]

[The Ruins. He hasn't fared so hot in there the last two times he's visited. Break has half a mind to forbid her from going in, but he realizes with a jolt he doesn't exactly have the authority to discipline her. He jumps down from the edge of the fire escape and hurries in her direction.]
What were you doing in the Ruins, anyway? Who was that?

[If this sounds disturbingly familiar... it should. The difference being that Priscilla was a sister or a mother to her when she changed rather than just a friend like Lucian, and that now Yachiru knows that bringing someone back from that state is possible, even if it is difficult.]
I need to go after him! I have to find him, Xerbie! I can't stay here, I have stuff to do!

No, you're going to stay right there, do you hear me? You can't go after him by yourself. I'm not going to let you get hurt. I can't.
[He can't do it again. He's tried not to think of the youngest Sinclair girl, twisted and withering under the illegal contract with the Chain, sacrificing her own family in her pursuit. He's not sure why he's thinking of it right now, either. He's never raised his voice at Yachiru before, but at the very least there's more fear evident in his tone than anger.]

He yelled at her. She blinks. And pauses.
It's a far cry from the first time she's ever been yelled at, that's for sure. But there are certain people who she expects to yell at her, and Xerxes Break is not one of them. It's almost as weird as the idea of Ken-chan yelling at her.]
Okay, Xerbie.
[She can hear it in the sound of his voice, the fear. If he were just angry with her she would have blown him off and done as she pleased. But he's afraid for her, and as much as she feels it isn't necessary, as much as she usually likes to be contrary, and as much as she needs to go and get Lucian, to bring him back, she doesn't want to be the cause of that feeling. Because that feeling is the worst.]
I'll wait. But will you hurry?

Break takes a deep breath and swallows. He can be there very quickly, with just a bit of aid from Mad Hatter.]
Yes. I'll be right there.
[The background of the feed blurs strangely as he breaks into a sprint that is a great deal faster than a normal human gait. She's seen his Chain now, anyway, there's no point in keeping it a secret anymore.]

[She stabs the ground restlessly. She's still charged up, ready to go and waiting makes her chafe but everyone got so bent out of shape about her fight she figures it's better to let them make themselves feel better.]
I'm going to fight him again. But I'm not going to lose, Xerbie, so you don't have to worry.
