[The feed opens up to show a somewhat agitated man wearing sweats and a white tank top.So I've gotten the basics here so far. Big archway called the Door that brings everyone here. People come from all sorts of different worlds. This place is called Anatole right? I know, normally people come in and want everything explained to them but what can I ( Read more... )

It's true. I've never cared much for that. [ Not that...he can die now. Thanks Claire B) ]

Second chances are much more fun.

[And they tend to last longer, too. Unless you're dying a particularly gruesome, drawn out kind of death.]

Did you die before arriving here?

In a way. [He did...a lot of times. But...he can regenerate. So there's that.]

[Regeneration brofist?]

Congratulations on your new life, then. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be.

Starting over is one. It certainly was for me. Money's never a problem if you're the persuasive type, and sometimes death isn't permanent. And they can say what they will, but it's always interesting.

Money's not really a problem anyways. [Sup, midas touch?]

Interesting is good. As are new starts. [Assuming Mohinder stops....openly talking about him being a murderer. That's a big assumption.]

[No midas touch here, but she does okay with separating people from their ivories. Not as good as she could do if she could turn things to gold, though. She would be jealous forever.]

You're lucky then. Do you have a name?

Welcome to Anatole, Gabriel~

Miss Silk? Is that some kind of stage name?

[It hadn't started out that way, no. Joker'd had a gift for naming people, and she'd wanted to be something else so badly, then. But like so many others he's gone ...wherever people go when they cease to be here.

But it does make a hell of a stage name now.]

Some kind, yes.

[Just a laugh. A low, playful sounding thing.]

It does.

[Joker would be proud, perhaps.]

Maybe I'll see you around sometime~
