[Hey, look, it's Asellus! She's... working on something, something small and wooden. It's rough-hewn, but it looks like... a flowerbox?
But what's mostly different here isn't that she's working, or that she seems to be wholly focused on her job. It's that she's not even bothering to be dressing in her 'costume'; gone are the skirts and long sleeves and hats. Now she's in a loose pink tunic and black shorts that might be just a little on the tight side; she's bought her old clothes back from the merchant she'd sold them to. He'd disassembled her coat, but the blouse and shorts proved unsellable and he'd been happy to be free of them.
So now, elbow-deep in dirt and humming (slightly off-key) to herself, she seems... comfortable. After all, if the natives weren't going to accept them anyway, there's no point in hiding herself-- and besides, she can fight and move better in this.]
Y'know...

It's coming up on the season for autumn flowers. I like autumn in general, actually, but not just because I was born during it. My aunt used to keep gardens, and the ones outside my window-- the freesia, especially-- would start blooming right about now, along with the jasmine.
...It's a little nostalgic, thinking about it. I wish I had a bigger place-- one with gardens of my own. The ruins aren't the best place to grow things, and I need more to do. I want to do things with my hands. To make some sort of difference, I guess. It feels like every time I take a step forward here, I take two back. I want to stop that.
But I'm not really sure how to go about it just yet. I need more time to think, I guess.
