[it seems, as that thought comes up, Mina decided that her parents are somewhere in the network, and extends her little arms over the top of the counter and makes to grasp at the Forge and drag it until she's into view. maybe her mommy and daddy just need to see her face and see that it's her and -]

[...yeah, the Forge kinda just slipped from her fingers and clanked on the floor. the feed flickers and Mina gasps.]
- oh no! No, I broke it!
[and as the feed flickers and dies, little shoes turn and patter from the room, the child possibly calling for 'Miss Shirley' once or twice before the Forge sorta...dies.]
