The problem with insanity
is knowing whose it is.
Yours or everyone else's.

She said the same thing to me.

If you would elaborate…?

Hive-minded, I guess.

Sometimes reality eludes everyone - including yourself. No one can really step back and be completely unbiased. We just do the best we can.

If reality is knowable at all. If any reality is not merely the composite of hive perception.

But thing is… I never used to believe that.

I still don't.

I believe in an objective reality beyond any limited perspective-therefore beyond human perception. We do not create reality. We are a product of it. We ourselves are shaped by our perceptions but reality is not.

And… theoretically… I should be fascinated… should be thrilled to discover that reality may be even larger and more flexible than previous evidence indicated… the thrill of science is not knowing-not knowing-always reaching for the next discovery, never settling for anything as proved, everything up to challenge…

…but… there are some things… that have stood up to the challenge for so… so… very… long…

Like the fact that I'm saying all this to you. I have no idea who you are. We haven't met. Implies you could be a dream and I'm speaking to you this way because it's how I might speak to myself.
