Hey, after everything I've been through here so far, this is a nice change. No making people like someone they don't know, no trolls ripping hearts out, no playground fights, no cat-things... just string and a date.

The only bad part is when someone tells you "Hey, I got a date with your dad".

[It's on a similar level that Ulquiorra finds the whole matter. It would have been ridiculous to ever consider he'd ever attempt small talk with a Shinigami. He could easily insist on resuming the battle that he was so certain of winning, no matter how much the boy stubbornly clung to his Zanpakutou. ...but to what purpose? The game had been swapped out, the pawns reset.
