If she was Elena, I doubt I'd be sending her chocolates. [Not because he doesn't like her but because he works with her and has for years and it seems so unprofessional to do that. He'd take her to the shooting range or something.]

Privately, typically. I keep track of all of my Turks. [Proud Asian mama and all that.] I was intending to teach her more unarmed combat and get her a flame thrower, actually. You can be trusted with neither of these gifts.
