[The face that appears on the screen is, at first, upside-down, until its owner figures out to turn the device the right way up. Said face, as it comes into focus, belongs to a pale woman with wide, blue-green eyes, and she bites her lip and stares anxiously into the screen for a moment before speaking.]
Is this device functional? I think I've figured it out, but it's not any configuration of communications technology I've ever seen before. [A thoughtful pause.] In fact, it seems a little...outdated.
Speaking of outdated - What is this place? Have I been derezzed? Is this some sort of afterlife for programs? I don't remember how I got here. I think I must have rebooted. I'm not even sure how I got my arm back.
...Are there any Users here? I could really do with some advice from one right about now.
