This place has gotten really eye-for-an-eye lately, though. I know that things have happened, I know the people who-who died had it coming, but how is it solving anything? Are we any less violent than we were two weeks ago? When’s it going to get worse? Are we going to do the same for thieves?

Maybe I’m a hypocrite, considering I did it once, too. It was Yazoo, you know, but we see that it didn’t solve anything, right? Shiva, we need to learn out lesson, because history’s just repeating, and we’re not getting any safer or any wiser.

There has to be another way. Warning signs, vigilance, and a punishment that doesn’t involve more death; we just have to find it before this city turns into a bloodbath.
