That's the sort of thing one does when they're compensating for deficiencies!" so instead, he sips his tea and tries not to smirk too much when he turns on audio.]

Is there any particular reason for your display, or are you simply feeling restless?

I'm not sure that it would be. Although I suppose that's a question of temperament.

[Specifically yours. Don't they have some kind of medication for that? But no, it's rather interesting; you certainly know how to bring the house down. No pun intended. Maybe.]

Still, it would be disappointing if that rather fascinating evolutionary jargon turned out to be nothing more than an after-the-fact justification for a tantrum.
