[Behold! Priscilla is in her room today, specifically in her office corner, at her desk, surrounded by half-filled schedules and a decapitated plastic chicken. Well, you probably won't notice unless you look closely. In any case, she takes a long, deep breath.]
Please be careful with your Forges at this time. Um. What I mean is, they can be... prone to broadcasting thoughts... and dreams... personally, I'm going to just, um. Stay awake.
[She rubs her face, and she looks a little tired, but it's not hard to guess that she's going to be staying awake until the broadcasts end. A cat tail flicks by the side of the screen.]
I've been thinking for the past few days. It's pretty irritating that feelings can change so quickly. You can be happy... and then miserable, and then--
[She rolls a pencil across the desk, and it runs into the chicken's foot.]
Someone told me recently that I should have a hobby. Something to um, alleviate stress? ...well, it was Lady. But I do hear that a... fair bit! And I can't think of anything much that I like to do, aside from fighting, which isn't really a hobby since it's my job. But I'm not sure you even need a hobby if you like your job. I mean, if your job is meaningful and gives you focus, and purpose and... all the things jobs normally do. But then again, maybe that's why warriors rarely know how to navigate personal um, waters. Is that a bad metaphor? What I mean is, if you don't spend much time thinking about your own life and people in it, then you don't know what to do when things um, come up.
I don't know.
I usually have more to say than this. And I think I need to get a horse, and I'll name it Arthur. I don't mean just the backside, either. I'll name the whole horse Arthur. Because there are some things, and some people, that I can't ever stop missing no matter how long it's been, or what happens. Even if I feel as though I should.
