{Click! and you're watching the excavation site from... quite high up.}

What are they doing down there?

After all the nonsense that's been going on this past week, this is what people are focusing energy on? They ought to be more concerned with other raging creatures roaming into the city on murderous rampages ( Read more... )

We stumbled on what seems to be the remains of an old book collection.

And, what, you're simply taking them for yourselves? I've observed several people wandering away from the site with objects uncovered.

What have you found? Which book?

I haven't. I have no use for unreadable books. I did not note their titles.

However, I am aware of what appeared to be a number of storybooks having been recovered.

Storybooks? Useless. And unreadable or not, they shouldn't be removing property that doesn't belong to them. Tch.

I wonder, though, whose collection this is. Has there been no indication yet of true ownership?

I would agree that storybooks are not particularly helpful.

[A little pause. She thinks back.]

If there was an indication of ownership, I did not see it. However, the area itself seems to have involved the collapsed remnants of some kind of house, perhaps. I wouldn't necessarily say that the area was this house, but if not, then certainly parts of such a place may have been pushed there in some way.

A house. Really.

{"Perhaps" a house, though possibly still worth a look.}

I wonder how the parts ended up there. Surely they couldn't have simply been pushed there. {Then again.} Granted, I suppose we've seen stranger things...

Am I too late, do you think, to join in the pilf-- ... the... excavating? Or has everyone more or less laid claim to the site.

Perhaps. Of course I could be incorrect.

[It's not like she spends a lot of time studying ruined architecture. Rafaela frowns a little at the implication that such things could not be pushed around, as well... however, she leaves it uncommented on.]

I believe the offer remains open.
