I've heard it said that there is no end to the wonders the world can show us. I'm beginning to think this may be true.
Hello everyone. You could call me another new arrival, much like most of you, although newer than many I think. I have always liked to assess a situation before stepping into it, so I admit I've read a bit before speaking up. It's been very inspiring to see so many people coming together so quickly, coming to rely on each other and trust one another - even people they did not know until a few weeks, or even days, ago.
The way adversity brings people together is always lovely, isn't it?
It's left me feeling very optimistic about the community's chances here.
In any case, it isn't all bad, I think. I've enjoyed the carnival, myself.
