Tomorrow marks my four hundred and forty-forth day here. That's a pretty big deal, right?

Sometimes it feels like I just arrived here yesterday. And sometimes it feels like another lifetime. Sometimes I wonder, if I went home now...
[She trails off. That's probably not something she should ramble about in public.]
Anyway, I've had some good days and some not-so-good days. And after thinking about it, I've decided that I much preferred the good days. [What a concept.] So I'm going to work even harder to make them all good.
I'm even going to go check out that opera thing. I'm not entirely sure what opera is, but it can't be that bad.
So, I know what some of you are thinking right about now. 'Elena, I wanna make my days better too!' That's easy. Join the Turks! Or you can put your fighting skills to work in the Arena, either way, I'm all ears.
And speaking of ears, I've got a real doctor now who can sew them back on!
Which reminds me... Scar? Senji? I'm working on my schedule right now, so when's a good time to pencil in your physicals?
[She's quiet for a second. Catching her breath and filling everyone with the false hope that she might've finally shut up. But there's still the rhythmic sound of a pencil tapping against a desk.]
Now that I think of it...maybe all of Shinra's employees should get physicals...
