[After hours and hours of trying to figure out this new piece of technology, Jarlaxle finally manages to get it to its video setting. His big, purple hat takes up most of the screen, so his pointy ears are hidden. You do notice, however, that his eyes are red. Despite waking up in a strange place, Jarlaxle seems totally cool with this, at least on the outside.]
Hello there, fellow… what was the word? Outsiders? Outworlders? My name is Jarlaxle.
I have not long been on this world, and I am somewhat struggling with using this device. If anybody is willing to help me, I would be delighted to buy you a meal and enjoy your company for a time, provided that you can find our way through the irritating cold of the snow and you can see fine in this strange lighting.
[A pause.]
Where is the best place to go for answers about this ah... current predicament I find myself in? I would appreciate some assistance, but if I must, I can figure things out of my own, provided someone points me in the right direction.
[It Jarlaxle a few moments to figure out how to turn it off. You can see him moving it around, muttering to himself about this glorious new toy and what kind of magic it must be made of, before he gets it to turn off.]
