I've been thinking that, with everything that happens here -- that I've heard about, anyway -- it might be good if I get into training. Make sure I don't get weaker, anyway.

Does... would anyone be interested in training? Or, maybe just practicing? I use magic, mostly, so I probably wouldn't be great for hand to hand, but I wouldn't mind learning

Wouldn't it be better if we just practiced spells together, instead of me attacking you? I mean, magic is pretty dangerous, even if there's a clinic and I know healing magic, hurting a friend isn't... really my idea of doing something right.

There's a punching bag at the HQ, but that's not really ...a good test of....uh. I've climbed some buildings with Jay and oh! Huh, it sounds like... you've already got a whole lot of people to help. Maybe, uh, maybe... there could be a training field, or something? Back where I come from, there were... [UHH. Better not mention the training deathtraps] these places, with a whole lot of difficult stuff to deal with, and you used them to train. Like-- like an obstacle course. Sort of. [Except not really at all.]

Wow. [He is impressed! And no worries. Hope... Hope is used to feeling like an awkward turtle. All. The time.] It's, uh... well, I don't know exactly. I think they're military issued back home, or... the ones Light used were, anyway. But they mean you can jump big distances and not get hurt, and be really... acrobatic and stuff. Springy, I think springy's a good word for it.

O-okay. Either is fine with me, so... milkshakes it is. We could work out some ideas for training, and what kind of stuff we need, and then talk to whoever we need to talk to. There's some training space at the patrol headquarters too, I think, but I don't know if that'll work for this.
