Someone is asking me about the possibility of an investigative division for looking into crimes and that kind of thing. That seems more like something you should handle, though. I'm going to refer him to you.

I suppose that depends. How often do incidents or crimes come up that require an investigation?

It's the department I was assigned to back home, and while, admittedly, by the time I arrived here, I usually saw more of my office then actual action, but putting clues together did become a specialty of mine.

Well... it's hard to tell! When someone is killed their body dissolves in the mist. And sometimes corpses are found um. Eaten.

But, you know what! That's something you should take to Byakuya about! He's a little frustrating sometimes, but I promise he means well. And he handles the criminal issues much more than me.

I didn't know what it was, but it felt like reiatsu. Spirit energy, like the shinigami.

That energy today... one of the sources was that... thing that arrived.

There has been a report of a man injured. It may or may not be related to this occurrence, but I think it might be prudent to investigate. What is the standard procedure that you have adopted for the patrol, for such circumstances?

[She carries on, quite calm.] Given our limited knowledge of the situation, it would doubtless be for the best to act with utmost caution. A calculated risk, however, could also be of some benefit. I have yet to determine what move might be most advantageous to us, however.
