This certainly is a hostile world.

[Not that he sounds put out by it... exactly. Perhaps unsurprised. His own world is hostile enough, after all. When are people not destroying one another in the pursuit of some or another useless and selfish end?]Any who are aware of the origins of that illness, I would be interested in discussing it with you ( Read more... )

[A scientist? Turks are so automatically suspicious of this.] I'm from the world where the illness seems to have originated. I...was never effected. It hasn't happened yet from what I remember, so I doubt I can provide much information as to what it actually entails. [Except he knows about where it comes from, or so he thinks.]

Ah, another of those from the world of this questionable silver-haired... gentleman, then?

Are there many of you?

Several. Though I've been on the opposite side of both the silver-haired men from my world.

You said you know the source of the disease?

Every world has its sides. I suppose it's inevitable that everyone takes one or another.

You could call it a parasitic virus, entirely alien in nature.

I don't suppose it stems from something called Jenova? [And is one of the side effects total insanity?]

I wouldn't know the name of its origin creature. I believe it to be the same creature that man called Yazoo referred to as Mother.

Jenova. She...it...caused quite a few issues even before this. Apparently she wasn't finished. If you need any more information, please let me know. I will try to assist you since I did nothing against it before.

She? Or... it?

[An academic point, but even so.]

The files on Jenova refer to her as a female. I'm not so certain, judging by physical characteristics and the fact it seemed incapable of giving birth. [But he's not the scientist. The other Wutainese man is.]

Then this "mother" designation is... metaphorical, or spiritual? Hm.

Her cells were injected into several SOLDIERs in an experimental procedure. But even the original given her cells as a fetus had a human mother to give birth to him.

All I know for certain is that she brings chaos and destruction in her wake. The last I saw of her, our esteemed First Class had beheaded her and it hadn't killed her.

[Which means... more human experimentation. One of the constants of humanity. It's more than slightly... disgusting.]

Ah, I see.

A being that maintains function without its head can hardly be said to be sentient.

[Or, in a certain sense, a being for that matter.]

Sentient enough to cause insanity to the level of that same SOLDIER annihilating a village. But no, not human by any stretch and not worth negotiating with.

[There's a lot more to say. But it isn't exactly good to distribute someone's medical files.] I am glad to know the crisis is over here, at least.
