[He laughs a bit, maybe a little awkward? It's hard to tell through text how much of that is sarcastic and how much is actually serious.]

Like I said, I work there so it's not like I'm going out of my way or anything! I do deliveries as it is so I'll end up going over there anyway just to do my job.

[Aaaand ten minutes later, he's at the door of Lavi's apartment carrying a box of food and a bag with the pain medicine slung over his arm. He pushes the door open and sets the bags down on a nearby table, giving the redheaded man a friendly wave and a grin.]

Lavi kinda grins through the pain from his spot, more leaning than standing at the moment.]

I guess ya weren't kiddin, yeah? Smells good.

[It's said with a little chuckle, before bending down on a knee next to Lavi, offering a shoulder for him to lean on so he can help him towards the bed (he figures Lavi will be more comfortable that way than eating at a table).]

Well.. [And Lavi will gratefully take his shoulder, walking hurts more at the moment than he'd like to think about. Kind of sucks really.] Some people've been known ta exaggerate if they think it's real good personally.

[He chuckles himself as he sits on the bed.] Guess 'll have ta see for myself, won't I?
