[It's late, so when the video turns on it only shows darkness. But, as the snuffling noise tells a moment later, that darkness is partly due to a dog's nose sniffing at the camera. When Hayate's face draws back, he seems to look worried. That is partly because of the grating noise of the siren's song making its way into the room despite the tightly closed windows.
And it is partly due to another sound. It's soft at first, like someone crying in her sleep, whispering in a nightmare. It's difficult to make out words until her voice begins to rise, louder and more afraid.]
No! Please. I can't... I can't... I can't.
[There is a sudden sound, a start, a scream, and then gasping.
And a moment later, the sound of a water glass shattering against a wall.]
