[There's a little girl peering at the screen for the longest time as if trying to figure out how to work it without realizing that random button pushing has already been successful. She pokes a finger at the camera before turning the entire device upside down then right side up again.]

Is this... a new Organization development? Is it broken?

[Have a four-year-old with critical blue eyes staring at you, little Teresa. She looks very skeptical for such a small girl.]

Are you a Claymore?

[Pause.]

I'm lookin' for my big sister, too. Have you seen her? She's must be lost 'cause she's not with me. Dummy.

[She frowns and taps the screen.]

Oh! And you're using this thing wrong!

No, I'm a trainee. How come you know that name?

[Frowning] What does your big sister look like?

[She turns the screen back so that if focuses on her face] How do you know?

I heard the grown-ups talking. They said stuff about 'the organization' and 'silver eyes' and stuff. And they said about Claymores. Do you kill yoma?

[She huffs out a little breath like this should be obvious.] She looks like me! Only taller. But not that much taller!

[She frowns in a rather self-important way.] I figured it all out already. You're hitting all the wrong stuff.

Grown-up talk a lot about things they are scared of. Well... I'm not supposed to, but I had to once.

[She doesn't look convinced] How old is she?

[A continued frown] I don't like this weird thing. It makes me look small and sound strange. You look a few centimeters tall...

That's true. They were pretty scared when they were talking about it. I was hiding in the cupboard!

She's nine! I'm four! But I'm almost as tall as her and everybody says I'm the smart one!

[She shrugs.] I don't like it much either, but it's pretty interesting. See, I look little 'cause we're far away but we're still talking to each other. Get it?

All the grown-ups don't like it when a Claymore came to my village. If you were hiding, then you never actually saw a Claymore?

So you have a stupid sister?

No, nothing I saw where I'm from had something like this. The screen makes it hard to see you anyway.

They told me to go to bed so I had to hide in the cupboard so I could know what they were talking about. And there wasn't a Claymore to see 'cause they were only talking about getting one and she didn't come yet.

[Now teeny Deneve looks angry. She's glaring with the full force of her big eyes.] She's not stupid. Have you seen her or not?

[Exasperated sigh.] There's nothing like it where I'm from either. But it's not that hard to figure out. See, it has an eye right here [she points a chubby little hand at the camera lens] and these things can talk to each other somehow, so you can see what the eye of mine sees and you can hear what it hears. And I can see and hear yours. I don't know how they talk to each other, though.

Were people disappearing in your village? Is that why they called for a Claymore in the first place?

[She seems unmoved by the glaring, and instead offers a smile] No, I haven't seen anyone but whoever appeared on this little box.

[She makes a 'hmmm' noise as she peers at the parts of the Forge, again turning it from side-to-side for entertainment] I wonder if the answer is inside the box with the eye?

Yeah! They wouldn't tell me anything about that, either! But I heard them talking about yoma.

[She only frowns in response to that.]

Probably! But I couldn't get it to come apart so I could look inside.

Before I was a trainee, my village talked about a youma as well. I wasn't allowed too close either.

Maybe you're not strong enough? What about hitting it with a rock?

Grown-ups are always talking about stuff they don't want us to know. That's why I hide in the cupboard!

I don't wanna break it!

It's what they do. All talk and no action until someone gets hurt or disappears.

So you don't want to find out what's inside then?
