[The forge clicks on, and there is static-- not the painfully disturbing kind, but the kind that's like a low rumble-- a subtle crackle in the background.]
And so it comes again. [The owner's voice is raspy-- tired.] Goddess... [But the voice isn't broken yet. There is the sound of footsteps now-- breaking into a run. Then what sounds like something slamming against wood-- knocking? Sounds a little too rough and desperate to be plain knocking. In fact, it sounds like a door has been broken open. Then a hitch of surprise in the owner's breath--]
Seems like it's not safe in here either.
[He switches the Forge off.]
