[There is a Johan. His eyes look a little red. There's also a Ruby, curled up in his lap. She looks pretty down, too.
A few seconds of silence. Then he speaks.]
It's funny. You think you're over being here, and then . . .
[He sniffles, then wipes an arm violently across his eyes as though he's afraid to let anybody know he's still crying.] It's stupid. Even if I was home I know it wouldn't be true, so why does it hurt so much more to dream about him here?

We should try to put together the things we all miss about our home worlds sometime. Have a day where we just kind of share those things with each other and . . . you know. So we can do them again.
