01. Dead or Alive
[A screen flickers a few times and then a picture shows up with no sound. It's a rather distraught looking woman, her red hair in a complete mess and a face looking strained but also frustrated as she shakes the device a few times while her mouth moves. Finally, a voice is heard and is suddenly very loud and very abrupt and the only thing that can be seen now is a mouth.]
-ell is this thing? Hello? Can anyone like, hear me!
[There's a few taps as she pokes the communication device, and the video feed only shows the ceiling and glimpses of this same woman as she turns it over in her hands.]
Geez, where the hell am I? This place looks like a dump. I really hope I'm not going to spend forever here or something.
Whever here is. I've got a feeling I'm definitely not in Konoha though. Minato should know better than put me in a place like this if we survived...
But...probably not.
[A low hiss of pain and then some grumbling. The only thing that can be seen is a mouth and up a nose, but she doesn't seem to be focused on the device any longer.]

[After a long moment of silence, a quick rustling and the sound of pacing is picked up.]
The fox! Naruto! Is he okay? Did the sealing work? God, I wish I was there still! He's probably like, scared and I'm not there for him! Dammit Minato! You should have just let me drag the fox down with me and you could've survived!
[The device is then dropped to the floor, forgotten, and there's quick padding across the ground that suddenly stops. A voice can barely be heard.]
Okay, calm down Kushina. You don't know what's out there and you're pretty much a sitting duck once you leave because you're still pretty messed up.
What would Minato do?
I guess I could find some clothes and weapon first. Yeah...okay.
[The woman's face comes into view again and she looks like she's about to cry and is only holding it back by scowling.]
Stupid useless... thing. How do I turn it off?
[Random buttons are pressed, and a small bit of text shows up with no sense]
