Voice -- Video
[It starts with a sharp, sudden cry, vaguely recognizable as Elena's. It's the voice that follows that positively identifies her.]
...Got me.
[The sound of gunshots pepper the audio, coming from two different directions. And through it all, a smaller voice, female but not Elena's, pleading for the one thing she would risk everything for.]
"Mama! Mama!"
[The gunshots halt abruptly -- but only on one end of the fight.]
No! Get back here!
"Mama!"
He doesn't know where--!
[Another shot rings out, tearing the air a little too close to the Forge's speaker.
For a moment there's nothing but silence. It's broken by a small thud and a sharp intake of breath.]
NO!!
[She starts to return fire again, but Elena's murmuring can be heard inbetween. There's a weight to her voice, a heaviness that voids the optimism of her words]
It'll be okay. We'll find a medic -- Sakura! It'll be okay!
[There's another gasp, and with it the feeling that things are about to go from bad to worse.]
Zack...? Oh no... Don't do it! It's what he wants!
[Her Forge's video flickers on, its angle less than perfect given how it was unceremoniously tossed out in the search of something else. But it clearly shows the SOLDIER, his expression going from shock to one of pure rage. His entire appearance changes with it. He's almost unrecognizable.
And across from him, Yazoo, looking as collected as ever. And smirking. Always smirking.
Zack cries out as he rushes at him. The remnant is ready for it. But neither seems to notice the bundle of wires and clay that rolls at Yazoo's feet.
There's a bright flash of light right before the two clash. It burns out the Forge's video. The explosion that follows takes care of the rest.]
