[Sasuke’s voice is cool, seemingly indifferent with an undertone of steel.]
I assume someone is on the other end.
[He waits, the Forge heavy and unfamiliar in his hand, one of the first things he’d seen when he’d woken up here. It resembles a walkie-talkie, even if it’s not quite like anything he’s seen before, and he assumes instantly that it’s been left by whoever it is that’s captured him. But of course there is only silence.]

[A rustle as Sasuke moves, a clunk as he puts the Forge down. Muffled noise. Then footsteps. A faint noise of surprise - the door’s unlocked? - and then the soft click of a shutting door.]
