I'm guessing they're fighting because someone made them.

Well... they have oil, some of them. I guess that's like blood. It depends on the sort of robot, most there's a load of gears and chips and things.

You'd have to ask them, wouldn't you? Maybe they do.

Do they talk like people? They're made of metal, right? They don't talk metal-language instead of people-language, do they? I wouldn't know what they were saying if I asked them!

Anyway, robots are all different. Some do those things and others don't, it just depends. We've got a few of them here, actually, if you can sniff them out. Er, figuratively speaking. I don't think they really smell like anything.

All I've got right now is Salty, and he doesn't talk.

Of course he doesn't fight, he's a dog. I mean, a robot dog, and I guess he could fight if I wanted him to, but he does other things instead.

And dog fighting is highly immoral.

Yeah, he can play fetch. There aren't really any others... I sort of made a mouse or something, once. And some crab thing. I guess I could make a bunny, if someone was interested in buying one. But nobody is.

[After a minute or so, the video turns on. The camera is pointed at a dog! And the dog is made of metal, but as it lounges on the floor with its coiled tail wagging and its head cocked to the side it seems to be perfectly alive.]

[Notably, Matt says nothing until the video turns off a moment later.]

Yeah, I made him all on my own. He's a pretty good dog for, you know, not actually being one. Friendly, too. I bet I could make a rabbit easy after him.

If you're really interested, that is. I've always wanted to make a rabbit, but like I said, nobody wants to buy one.
