I think I've decided that Tanabata is a lovely holiday. It's a shame that it only lasts for a short time.
[A short silence, and Priscilla shifts on her bed.]
Before I came here, I didn't really celebrate holidays of any kind. I have to admit, I'm not especially religious - my world had very little in that area anyway, or at least very little that I personally was aware of. It may have been the way I lived rather than the world itself... but in any case, I only knew about the twin goddesses and the One God of Rabona, the Holy City.
If either had any associated holidays, they weren't really in my... field of vision. Now I wonder if I missed something. Stories about love and war and losses and gains. Little miracles. I don't know any, myself, but every time I hear one, I am fascinated all over again.
Isn't it interesting how there are so many differences, and yet so many common places, from one world to another?
...in any case, Zack says that I should loosen up and try to take time off. I don't know how much I want to do that, but I think I may take off the 10th, as it is the anniversary of my birth. Traditionally, I spend it more in reflection, remembering my family and my past, rather than than celebration, but... Senji tells me this is depressing, so I may try something new!
