All right!
We have tentative partnerships for the patrols, which will begin Wednesday. Please listen, because this is very important.
Partners are!
[The words appear on screen as she speaks, slowly enough for her typing to keep up.]Zack and Reno. Priscilla - um, me - and Senji. Arthur and Lenalee. Nagi and Sakura. Naruto and Tidus. Mello

Until we can afford it, maybe we can run the headquarters out of one of our homes?

[She trails off, and makes a little hmming sound. When she speaks again, she sounds determined.]
We should take care of our own. Speaking for myself, I do not need shelter, but I have gathered that's unusual for people.

Might pick the biggest place in the Outlander Complex and make the HQs there. It's free, after all, you know?
As for the emergency food for the place, I can deal somehing with the natives. [And by deal he might or might not mean that a gun might be involved in the process. Hey, no more Mr. Nice Guy, things need to get done, right?]

[She pauses and makes a little face, not that he can see it.]
But it is true that lodgings there are less expensive than elsewhere. Even so, I don't know about running a military-type organization from a residential area. I don't think it's safe for the people.
[She pauses again, thinking about his offer.]
Do you think so? I had gotten the impression that you didn't like them, and--
...if you do anything to upset the native population, I am going to be very upset.

[There's a bit of rustling, and when Zack speaks again, it's a touch distant, as if he's speaking to someone rather than into the Forge.]
Yeah, she's not going to be the only one upset. Going around scaring everyone isn't going to get things done and done right, you know. Not on a long term scale. You're going to make them hate us more.

More rustling and, this time, when the Turk speaks it is as if he is closer to the communicator, but still further away than Zack is.] What he said.
[And his tone, too, changes in the same way then.] Is that even possible? We are goin' around five days a week to keep them all nice and dandy, still gotta work after that so we can hold ourselves and all they show us is their back - Gotta make a stand somewhere, you know? Otherwise they will be seein' our asses from so much bending down that we do.
Getting some food in is the least. And showin' us their leaders.

[She pauses, and then she makes a little, frustrated noise.]
Please stop him from frightening them. I don't want them to fear the Outworlders any more than they do, and I absolutely don't want us as a group to be associated with any questionable hijinks.

Ever heard that saying, "You'll attract more Replicons with honey than vinegar", Reno? If this is their version of being "civil" to us, I'd hate to see them treating us like how they feel.
Besides, in case you didn't notice, they outnumber us, not to mention run most of the businesses here. It's in our best interests to play on their good sides.

[And he is snorting at the Forge and then looking at Zack, eyes rolling at his facepalming.] Who the Hell wants to attract Replicons, anyway? [And then there is a second of unplanned relaxing when he hears his name, though he goes back to before just as fast at what follows, again with a snort.]
What's the-- [An eyebrow raises. "Outnumber us"? Since when is that even a proble--
His tone comes lower, again, seemingly further away from the Forge.] They don't have any military training. Most of them, anyway.
If we keep on serving their every need without askin' for retribution, it will never get us anywhere. Not stuff... nor answers. Is that what you want? [The question was placed for the two of them, but his eyes were fixed on Zack's.]
