Especially with the way the Mist's been acting up, this is pretty important. So listen.
Has anyone seen Adachi around? I haven't seen him around for awhile now, and that means the police force may effectively be without a leader. The night patrol has also more or less collapsed.

So unless a bunch of people volunteer from nowhere, it's not looking too good. Though the original purpose of the force was to catch the murderer, and he's been caught.
Basically I'm suggesting that if more people show up, the police should become a subset of the patrol. If not, there's nothing to do but shut down entirely, since it's more or less served its purpose anyway.
