I doubt your Shepard will ever get your message. As far as I can tell, the forge transmissions don't reach much outside the city. Not that there is much outside the city.
[pause]
Are you military? May I ask where you're from?
[A tiny, irrational part of her is hoping he'll say Amestris.]
[Sounds dissapointed] Oh, I see. Well, if I know Shepard, she's probably scanning every planet in the galaxy to see if I turn up on one. Which means it might be a while if she ever comes.
I served when I was young, but then joined C-Sec. I travelled with an Alliance commander for a while after quitting, then became a viginante on Omega.
I take it you're not from my time either. [He obviously isn't used to thinking of this as being a different time than his. He's still not sure he believes it either]
[She blinks once when he turns on the video. He reminds her a little of the chimeras that allied themselves with the Colonel and Edward. Then she flicks the video on as well.]
Most people don't even believe in aliens where I come from. [She does not look at all afraid or even particularly shocked at his appearance. She does, however, look interested.]
Well, it has it's up and downs. There is some suffering everywhere, especially in places far from the Citadel. There's crime, slavers, and mercenaries out there. Even on the Citadel things aren't always peachy. That's why I became a vigilante, so I could do something without the red tape crap.
[Realizes how pessemistic he sounds]
But, there are good things too. Lots of the different aliens are nice, and now that Anderson is on the council things might change for the better.
[Oh, she knows that look, even though his features are different from hers she can recognize it. Has seen something like it on her own face. She smiles slightly, sadly and her voice drops low.]

I think that goes for a lot of species before they made First Contact. Humans are actually one of the newest races to discover space travel.

Though, life isn't all bad. Some of the best times of my life were aboard the Normandy, especially with Shepard.

Is Shepard your commander?

I'm sorry you were taken away from her.

Well, if anyone can find us and get us off this world, it's her.
