[When the audio clicks on, the only thing that can be heard for a few minutes is the sound of heavy panting. When he has finally caught his breath enough to speak, the man speaking onto the Forge sounds hoarse and exhausted, and the words come between harsh gasps.]
I...I don't know...if anyone else...has already...noticed this, but...the mist...can access our memories somehow. And...[A few moments of silent aside from panting.]
[When he speaks again, his tone is low, and quiet.] And it can make them real.
[He doesn't expand on that, but if he sounds angry and upset, it's because he is. The mist has encroached on something very personal and private to him, and he's more than a bit disturbed that even his mind isn't safe from the mist.
The video clicks on, then, revealing the carcass of one of the larger dire wolves. The camera doesn't show his face, but a tanned arm is clutching at his side and his shoulder is bleeding freely. Perhaps going out into the mist while injured wasn't a good idea...but Scar has never been one to stay in one place for long, and for all he's heard about the mist, he wanted to find out what he was dealing with for himself.]
