I wonder if that is meant as some sort of compensation for being trapped here. And I wouldn't be the perfect Phantomhive butler if I were unable to even do such a simple thing like sensing my master's presence. [ Well he won't really say that he's been able to do that even before waking up in Anatole, so why not let Light assume what he wants. ]
