I guess when you're in the middle of a bloody wasteland like this you're bound to develop some strange methods of coping. Like festivals? Loads of them. It's just a prototype, but it works a hell of a lot better than the others I tried.

I still have a lot to practice, but see for yourself.

[He turns the video on and the camera focuses on a few scraps of metal. Suddenly, they twist and turn, and merge together to form a little robot. It's not perfect, and you can still see the lines where the metal scraps were joined together, but it's still recognizable as a robot, overall.]

Fact is I've got plenty of scraps over here. Lots I need for orders, and even more I can't do a fucking thing with. If you're willing to help a bloke out, you could get some nice practice in for yourself.

I just put it together. Lots of little parts and scraps and wires, you know? It's a bit like a puzzle, only when it all fits together it moves around. Just sort of works.

Salty... I like it. Good name.

Right. I'll need you to take some cameras out into the ruins to make sure the signals aren't hampered by the mist acting up. I figure you can get some pretty good distance, so however far out you can get without being badly affected by it. I need those things back in one piece so don't die or break them or anything. Er, that's an order.
