All right. It is definitely more difficult to subdue a creature than kill it, and it's definitely more difficult without any weapons. That's not to say it was very difficult, but if I were to... for example... engage in some kind of combative situation for show rather than function, that would certainly be one way to prolong the conflict!

...it's so interesting how things come in waves, here. Recently, the Door has brought in a number of people from my world - different times, but the same place - and I can't decide whether or not to be glad for it. I don't want anyone to be here if they don't want to be, but I can't pretend that it isn't nice to feel... a little less alone.
Oh! And if you go to the festival, they have a really delicious strawberry flavored cake thing. I only had a few bites, but it was lovely. I recommend it!
