[The audio sounds a bit off, and between that and the ambient noise it's obvious she's outside, walking somewhere as she records.]
It's so quiet here now that the birds are gone... although I keep finding a few eggshells here and there, it seems like they've been overlooked in a few places. If anyone else finds any you should get rid of them immediately. I think everyone's starting to feel better now, but I wouldn't take any chances.
I... I think I missed the worst of it, though. I spent a lot of time in Anatole's church lately. It's lovely, but they aren't very specific about what-- who it's dedicated to. Some of them kept talking about the mist, like there was something... in there.
[She pauses, then sighs.]
But that's all they'd tell an outsider like me. I guess I'll have to hit the library again now.
Has anyone else had any more luck? I wonder if-- huh?
[She stops again, and in the silence there's banging in the background, and faint voices. If anyone else had been to the area, they'll recognize the sounds of the construction site. From here, Nina sounds distracted.]
