In the last day or so, I've noticed more and more people coming into the clinic complaining of extreme fatigue. I'm beginning to think that something is going around.

[She sounds a bit weary herself... though whether she's sick herself, or she's simply been busier than normal and running herself ragged, is anyone's guess.]If anyone is experiencing ( Read more... )

It appears as though I will need to stop by the clinic.

... all right.

Out of curiosity, are you experiencing any other symptoms?

Nothing outside of the ordinary.

[She should certainly know what he means by that.]

[Yes, she does.]

Strange. I wonder what's causing it.

I do feel a bit tired. But I wouldn't want to trouble you at a time like this. I'm sure you're busy enough as it is!

Think of it this way: you'd be doing me a favor by coming to me now, rather than later if it gets worse.

Mm. Well, yes that's a good way to look at it, I guess.

Ah, all right. I'll come in, then.

Thanks. I'd feel a lot better if you did.

Hopefully we'll find out what's going on.

It's a possibility. I don't know of anything that causes this... well, it can't really be called a set of symptoms if there's only one.

Are you feeling all right? You sound tired yourself.

I just mean that if you're experiencing symptoms, don't try to be tough and avoid asking for help. You don't just endanger yourself when you do: if it's a disease, and if it's contagious, you endanger other people.

Are you?

[You can't see it but Bosco is pointedly eavesdropping/looking at all the responses she has had.] Yeah because no one else is turning up sick. Looks like everyone got endangered all on their own.

You said you were a police officer? How dangerous do you think this city becomes if a real epidemic breaks out?

I want to do as much as I can to prevent that from happening.

Don't worry about that. It's better to try and stave this off before it becomes a bigger problem.
