III. [VIDEO]

Feb 07, 2010 16:50

This missing people problem is getting dire, from the sounds of things.

[ Oh, let's try video. It's a big tremory mess when he first turns it on, and then he settles it down on the table, where it steadies. He's sitting in front of it on the couch, fingers laced together. Smoking, as usual.

Somewhere behind him is the kitchen, and he's obviously not alone. Something that looks suspiciously like a certain recently dead guy is apparently running hot water into the sink. ]

I don't want to step on any toes; I understand there's a force investigating the problem and helping to keep us safe. But while this crisis is going on, it seems that it could be safer to locate the youngsters and older people all in one place, with a few reliably strong adults to keep an eye on things and act as escorts.

Most of you seem to have a sense of togetherness. This is the only sort of circumstance where it'd probably work.

[ There's a lot of splashing. Said recently dead guy is apparently trying to wash dishes, and he's obviously slightly new to it; he's getting water all over the floor. Kubota resolutely ignores it, scratching his chin thoughtfully. ]

And maybe the more vulnerable people amongst us could group up when they go out. There isn't much to be done for people working in different places, but...

Aa, but that's just what I thought.

[ There's a distinct crack, and Altaïr holds up two halves of a dish, muttering something that sounds like la'ana. Kubota smiles wanly into the camera. ]

... Excuse me.

[ And he turns off the transmission. ]
