I changed my mind. This place isn't so bad after all. And the stuff that's going on down in the tunnels isn't as terrible as people make it out to be. The fighting isn't nearly as brutal as the Midgar slum chocobo fights that I used to hear about.
And the people in block two are actually pretty nice. A couple of guys really went out of their way to talk to me, and a few girls too! But some of the things they wanted to talk about... I mean, I wouldn't actually take them up on it, but it's nice to know that a girl has options.
The best part about the Dismas? -- I got a job there! The casino hired me on the spot, no training, no background checks, nothing! They even paid me twenty ivories up front. I still wonder how many gil that is... Of course, my loyalty doesn't have a price tag on it, but...just about everything else here does. And I get to drag people who try to cheat outside by their ear, so at least I'm getting paid for what I enjoy.

I found a couple of lab rats down there. I guess we just have to wait and see if they're still alive twenty-four hours from now. I'll keep you updated.
You know, if I taught them just a few basic Turk moves, I could really turn these guys into champions.
