There are too many choices to make and it's causing quite a bit of problems since most end up being an either - or situation. Then again the two career paths I want are quite a bit different to say the least. Programming, Special Forces, or both? Both would be preferred but nearly impossible. Then again I guess that's all the more reason to try. Maybe if I went to boot camp next summer I could decide...but then I'd have to serve my 3 years (but not immediately)....ahh too many decisions. Then again if I didn't make SF I don't really want to just be cannon fodder like the rest of them. I guess I'll work on my Arabic and start working out even more.
http://www.military.com/military-fitness/army-special-operations/army-green-beret-training I can easily do most of the fitness recommended but I don't know how I can do all the training courses necessary and still get my computer science degree. Bah, they all take so much time. If I do CS then I don't know if they'll let you in after 21, supposedly you can serve till you're 30 so I guess they should let me, guess I'll ask a recruiter sometime. Maybe I can do online courses from wherever they send me, but that would be nearly impossible considering how complex the courses I have to take are. Not much else going on in my life right now...I'm an assistant to the IT guy at a power plant and it's really easy with good pay. I had to drive a huge dump truck (a really old poorly kept one) the other day, that was an...interesting experience.
I couldn't live without my bass guitar.
Don't know how anyone can't feel mellow when listening to Pink Floyd's "Money" even when they have no idea what to do.
