I should really not be spending my precious break-from-studying hours being annoyed but the brain twitching has been ongoing ever since Junno’s resignation was announced and I figure a little ranting may be cathartic. Let's hope.

I LOVE YOU! This sums up just about everything that needs to be said regarding this situation and I hope everyone will be able to read this and think for a second.

It pisses me off how his fans make it seem like it's our fault now. It pisses me off how they make it appear that Junno's a saint in this whole situation and that he did nothing wrong. He was just being human, making a decision, he has a life; it's not like we fans don't understand that. He has the right to do whatever the hell he wants with his life just as much as the rest of us do. And it's not like we don't respect that, accepting it however, it's a whole different thing. They have to understand that we deal with things differently, we value things differently and feel differently. Imposing feelings onto others and making it seem like they've done something wrong just because they don't share the same thoughts and feelings and they don't cope the same way, wtf. More importantly, hating or getting angry, it's not like it'd change anything. Junno would still leave, the 3 would still be left behind; why aren't we allowed to feel it then? It doesn't change anything at all so why are others making it seem like it's such a big no no if others feel a certain way.

Err sorry, just kinda vented out my frustrations regarding the situation m(_ _)m

This is the crux of the matter. Fans will go out of their way to think of reasons to legitimize Junno's bizarre timing but they can't seem to grasp where our hurt feelings are coming from? How is that so hard? Even KT are able to sympathise with hyphens more than hyphens themselves ("When I think of how all you must be feeling in your heart of hearts, I'm at a loss for words." -Nakamaru), which is odd. If some fans are able to deal with the situation with full on positivity then that's great, but it doesn't make those who are still staggered by the news any less mature. And yeah, how we react doesn't really change anything; if half a year of pleading from the members couldn't change Junno's mind, I doubt much else will. Plus, the point of venting isn't to make Junno or his fans feel like crap; it's a process to sort out personal feelings. If you rush to slap a bandaid on a wound without giving it time to breathe, you'll probably make it worse.

There's hurt on behalf of the group that we risk to lose now and the hurt of being lied to--intentionally or not, a broken promise is a broken promise. And I'm not even thinking of this in the feels-y, naïve way anymore. Looking at it from a business perspective, fans were unfairly lead on. KT placed such an emphasis on their 'forever kt' promises exactly because they knew they needed stability and longevity to appeal to fans. The focus on exploiting each member's unique qualities and solo ventures shifted when Jin left; then the focus was on establishing a mellow, more united, 'won't let you down again' image. That peaked again after Koki left. I don't blame the members for it but I do understand that promises from idols are more of a business scheme than pure devotion alone. And from that angle, I do feel put off. Junno hasn't really acknowledged the promises he broke so it feels like he didn't put much weight in them to begin with. It just feels very (unexpectedly) cold to me.
