Recently, I've fallen into a funk where I find it very difficult to sit and write fic. I think part of it is that the idea of writing a full-fledged fic with meaty plot and meta is suddenly daunting to me; it takes a lot of time and energy, and my attention span isn't focused enough to take that on at the moment

Sorry, I had not read right the part where u say "I've fallen into a funk where I find it very difficult to sit and write fic"... Well, but if u happen to have a nice idea for a birthday fic, please, share it! It doesn't need to be a complete story, and it may be after Nakamaru's b-day...

- I was thinking abt something involving violins (stiil influenced by last SCP): for example, Kame singing happy bday for Maru while Taguchi and Ueda try to play violin (they forget the notes and it doesn't sound good but it's better than Nakamaru expected...)
- A drabble where Kame, Taguchi and Ueda try to fix Maru's birthday gift after Ueda broke it (or lost it, and they desperately try to replace the present).
- Drabble where KAT-TUN members give (bad) birthday gifts for Nakamaru and he tries to not sound too disappointed... In the end, everything is a joke OR, actually, the gifts have some utility just revealed in the last moment...

Well, you see I'm not good at creating prompts... But I hope this can be useful for u somehow :)

I know this is very late but the truth is that I had started writing this soon after I received your prompt, only I wanted to continue it but didn't have enough time. Instead, I'll just post it in parts as I go along; you can also read it as a stand-alone. Enjoy! <3

Oh, thanks for writing it \o/ Tried to leave a (long) comment at your fic but it seems like LJ marked it as a spam (?) so I'll say here that I really liked it (though it made me blush in some parts...) and I'll b waiting for a (possible) continuation (wondering if we'll finally see a smut scene coming from u...)
