GUH. OMG, that was so awesome. I loved Yuuta's adorable obliviousness and Fuji being um, himself. ^___^ Like the part when Fuji's putting the lipgloss on Yuuta and practising kissing. XD And Yuuta's so cute, being afraid of storms and of course, Fuji *will* come to comfort his little brother when his inhibitions are so conveniently lowered. >:D (And I admit I stole that line from a fic but I forget which one. u.u) *reads the fic again* Ahhh, Fujicest. Such a guilty pleasure of mine. ♥__♥

Thank you for your kind words! [laughs] I wish I'd been able to, ah, lower Yuuta's inhibitions a little more ... but I don't trust myself enough (yet) to do that without turning it into plain gratuitious porn.

It's my guilty pleasure too. I swore up and down that I wouldn't touch it as soon as I heard about it ... so much for that. I'm writing it. Hypocrite, much?

If you ever remember where the quote comes from, do tell. It sounds like a good fic. Cute icon, too! ♥

Well, you definitely deserve praise for this - the characterization was spot-on. And ahahaa, the Fuji brothers have a way of sucking you in and making you write about them; it happens to even the most unwilling of authors. :p But you gotta love the Fuji kyoudai dynamic in the series, it lends itself to so much... speculation. XDDDDD

Do continue being a hypocrite if that means you write more Fujicest. *glomps* We can all go merrily down to hell together. Company's always good, heh. ^___^

And I figured out the fic where I stole the quote from. :D Also, I shall gently prod you into posting this into fujicestfest. ^_____^

I'm glad -- I don't really like all-wise, all-knowing Syuusuke, so I was trying to make him a bit of a dork. Like any given fourteen year old. :D

As much as it leaves me a bit wanting (a bit? ha XD), I have to say that I really enjoyed this. It feels like a series of snapshots, which is interesting for being Yuuta's point of view. I think your style would lend itself rather well to continuing on to the smutty parts, if you wanted to write them, but ... well, it doesn't need it. And I actually think it's more effective for what doesn't happen.

But then, I like tortured!Yuuta. ^_~

I know what you mean -- when sex is on the cards, you as a reader want the follow-through. And I honestly would have done it if I thought I could convey that level of fucked-up, guilt-ridden emotion. Alas, I fear my skills are no where near that level. No Arundhati Roy I. :P

Still, I am glad that it worked as it is too. Maybe I'll re-read A Game of Thrones and get some smut-inspiration. ♥

He does have something to say when Syuusuke climbs in beside him, but unfortunately a strangled 'Syuusuke!' doesn't achieve much in the way of persuading his brother to leave or, alternatively, die. wins x859398280220329492 8D

Heh, I quite liked that line myself! I was channelling the sorts of things my brother and I used to say when we were younger (leaving out some of the violence, though).

This is wonderful. I have issues with many people's characterization of Fuji, but you really nailed him as far as I'm concerned. Not to mention that your clueless Yuuta is absolutely amazing. I was really convinced by this, even though I'm not a big fan of Fujicest. Really great job! ♥

That's good! He's a character you can have endless fun with, mind. Like putty, he just keeps on giving.

I never would have considered myself a fan of Fujicest either, until I saw what by slash standards are blatant hints in the anime. Plus, it's just ... the opportunities to make it really something are all there. I'm going to keep working at it. :D
