I avoid all things Harry/Louis so hard I had no idea that Harry was supposed to be pining for Louis. That makes no sense! Harry is the ladykiller with all the self-confidence! Louis is DRIPPING with a desperate need for people to like him! idgi.

The Alan Carr interviews are DELIGHTFUL. Ugh, poor Liam, he was unprepared for those dirty jokes. Poor kid. Pussygate is an ongoing delight, by the way; have you seen the cartoon about them? With Harry's pussy magnet? (A giant magnet that attracts cats.) And then someone threw a plush pussy magnet on stage (a magnet with stuffed cats on it) and the whole band tried to get Liam to say "pussy magnet" and he absolutely refused no matter how much they yelled at him while he blushed.

Tbf, it may be more a case of mutual pining that is corrupted by EBUL MGMT, but there's definitely a sense - from fic - that Harry does a lot or more of the pining. With that in mind, these interviews totally destroy that canon. It's pretty hilarious. That's why I think it'd make a great fic - for anyone you want to ship with Harry, in fairness. For sure, famous people get a lot of play, and I'm not saying the other dudes don't get offers, but people like Harry come only once in a generation. And I could see that creating a great conflict for a story - why would he settle for just one person? Even if he loves them and they love him etc etc btw Harry ate my brain. Sorry

Ahh, see, I have a friend who's planning a fic where it turns out Harry is terrible in bed because he's never had to try because he's just so fucking charming, and Liam accidentally tells him, and Harry's like, "No, I'm great, everyone says so," but when he calls all his exes they're like "....well, the thing is......" and Harry has to like, LEARN to pay attention to other people. And yes, Louis is so desperate to be somebody and be somebody for someone and be special and noticed etc - I never quite understood why people kept saying that Harry is "whipped"? I think he indulges Louis a LOT, but because he decides he wants to and not for any other reason.

That vid is too cute. I love them and hate them at the same time - they are so fun, but there is ALWAYS a clip I have not seen before. Which should be IMPOSSIBLE with the amount of time I have spent watching footage. How many more hours do I have to give up in order to feel like I have made it through everything??!

Also, yes!! I would read every single word ever of fic about Louis being the sulky one!! My headcanon!Harry is not always sulky and pining, but I think maybe that is written a lot because Lou is the one with a girlfriend, so it sort of automatically casts Harry as the one longing for attention.

I can see that! Although it seems to me Louis has a girlfriend, and he's just so delighted that someone loves him enough to be his girlfriend, yay! A pretty normal response.
