I found my charm! : )
Wow....what a week. Today was my first day off this week because I got called in on my other day off. Gotta love getting 49/50 hours in one week and closeing by yourself during two of those days and then having a crazy sale during the other three. I mean who's bright ideas was it to see chicken for $4.99 and then give away pop, rolls, and chips for free with it? Did they plan on working us to death because that is what it seemed like? Needless to say, it was nice to close with Bonita this week because I got help and we have fun at night.
I did manage to go see Amanda for lunch on Wednesday and have nice little talk. Gosh, I miss her. It was fun comparing practical jokes that we did over the past year. I did get some new ideas, so watch out next year. ; P It was nice to just sit and talk and compare ideas and get her thoughts on different things. We did decided that guys are simply poopheads and that we are going to collect all the sperm from them and then kill them off because they are only good for keeping the population going and simply give us headaches. (J/k) Gosh, I miss her. I wish I could put her in a suitcase and take her to college with me next year, but she'll only be at Calvin, so I can go kidnap her whenever I want to.
Today, I decided I was absolutly crazy...no wait. Sara G. decided that for me. Anyways, Joanna and I went out to Cass Benton to run today. We did not stay on the course long because her knees and hips were bothering her, but it was really nice to get out there and run together and talk and do some hill workouts. Yes, I said hill workouts. Joanna and I decided to do the Martian 1/2 Marathon next year and the whole Detroit Marathon next year also (part of the reason Sara called me crazy). I think it will be fun though. I really miss running with all my girls and the comraderie I have with all of them. I did get to go visit Sara G at work today and talk to her for a bit. I miss her, but I did get an update on everything and she did say that she'll come visit me at GVSU next year, so that'll be fun.
Um...not much more to write about. Nothing new is really going on besides that. OH! I got a new charm today for my bracelet and I totally love it. We finally found the perfect charm for me. It's a newspaper and it says "news." I'm so happy now! We also found ones for GVSU, Stevenson, and Yzerman, so I am totally sending my mom to that place for my x-mas gift. I honestly think that finding my charm made my summer. I mean, I totally like hanging out with people and the crew, but at times, oh...I don't know. It's frusterating....maybe? And I feel like I have to pretend at times? Oh, I don't know. Anyways, totally excited that I found my charms! YEA!!
Ok, well that's about it. Well, besides the fact that Scott was back with us last week and might be back this week. That's been interesting, but more about that possibly later. My Aunt's party for her graduation from college is tomorrow and I manuvered my way out of work, so I could go and see my family for like the first time since Easter. It's totally sucked haveing to always work on Sundays, but I only have to work 2 more Sundays and I am done. So if anyone wants to do something August 14-21, let me know because my schedule is completely clear except for a few activities with the crew and I would love to see all of you before I leave for college again. Till then, night! Gotta rollarblade in the morning--it's my off day for running-- and I have got to get some sleep. Night!
