at buttonarcade's party i was dressed as the main character of "Saving Private Ryan" AND as an active monopoly. then at jasminedream's party i was optimus prime! neat!
in reality i dressed as a cowgirl again for trick or treat with my 12 year old (tomorrow) vampire sister and 4 year old spiderman brother. then steve and i were going to see nosferatu and have monster martini's at cafe lulu but he was too sick to go. he was going to be a professor with a pipe and tweed jacket and i was a zombie librarian! two of my favorite things :) since he pooped out i went shopping at joann fabrics, the bank drive thru, and at blockbuster. people were all doing double takes and staring, and 4 people actually came up to say they thought i was really bleeding! i had crazy messed up pigtails that i left in while i slept to make them real crazy, white face paint, black and brown circles around my eyes, and very realistic blood dripping from my hairline, ear, and nose. i wore a white collar shirt, argyle sweater, and green mary janes. it was like i just woke up, started bleeding, and went shopping for craft supplies and "repo man" (which is one of my favorite strange movies). it was sweet! photos (and hopefully details about the madison zine fest) will be posted soon.
