Weekend we eventful. The wife and I went to the city and visited the Metropolitain Museum of Art. I hadn't been to a museum in ages, and she really likes them. As expected, after looking at art for 4+ hour from artist many of whom I am not familiar, and almost all of whom are dead, make back acked and my feet were sore. But ultimately the wife was happy, so it made it worth while. I also moved that much closer to fulfilling my "culture" quota for the year.
That evening, we went out to celebrate a fellow Checkered Demon's birthday. I saw many faces of those I miss, and had a grande ole time. Unfortunately, we again fell victim to Metro North. The train schedule forced us to leave prematurely again. And thanks to a rather truant subway, we made our train with only a few minutes to spare. I really wish the trains ran longer, I hate driving my truck down because then I can't drink. I also hate Big Dave for punkin' out on the sunday gig leaving us with no regular hangout in the city anymore. Such is life.
On a possitive note, I began to test intrest in my 2 day ride to Niagara. Looks like it might not be a solo trip afterall.
